The Rotorua Music Federation presents top New Zealand pianist Jason Bae at the Convention Centre later this month.
Bae's performance in Rotorua will be the last of 11 at New Zealand centres as part of Chamber Music New Zealand's 2015 Encompass Series.
Bae won first prize in the Bradshaw & Buono International Piano Competition in New York (2008), New Zealand Young Performer of the Year (2008), second prize at the Lev Vlassenko International Piano Competition, Australia (2009) as well as appearing as soloist with the 2010 NZSO National Youth Orchestra.
He has also made concerto appearances with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra of Australia, the Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra and the Christchurch Symphony Orchestra.
In 2012 Bae was the first New Zealander to become the Young Steinway Artist and the following year he was appointed as the youngest Chief Conductor of God's Vision Church Choir in London.
