A woman was robbed of her car at gunpoint in a residential area of Tokoroa in the Waikato region this afternoon.
Police are appealing for information about the incident that occurred in Stanley St at around 1pm.
Two young males, believed to be in their mid-late teens and both wearing dark hoodies, allegedly pointed a gun at the woman, forcing her to get out of the car.
The two offenders then drove away in the car, heading north towards Billah St.
The car is yet to be recovered and police are appealing for any sightings of it. The vehicle is a white Honda Odyssey, with the registration DTT185.
The occupants of the car should not be approached by members of the public.
Anyone with information which would help police locate the car or the offenders are asked to call 111 immediately.
