Celebrating the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare's death, 28 drama students, along with teacher Bridget Donovan and two parent helpers from Rotorua Girls' High School, visited the Pop Up Globe in Auckland.
The group went to watch the classic play Romeo and Juliet, which captured the whole audience.
The play was directed by Ben Naylor, who is an acclaimed UK theatre director and educator.
The cast was relatively small, adding up to just over 15 people, who had the audience in awe with minimal props and acting that had you stunned for the whole performance, even though we all knew the finale.
The actual Globe itself is smaller than other reconstructions of the original Globe in England.
