"It's really just starting to warm up, we'll be having a big day on Saturday.
"For us, it's just about being here and getting the brand name out there."
Meanwhile, helloworld Rotorua is offering visitors a chance to win a trip for two to Fiji.
Show-goers can enter the draw to win the prize valued at more than $5000, including four nights on Treasure Island.
The stall was full of people wanting to sign up and owner Deborah Kay said it had been "absolutely solid so far".
"There's a good mix of new faces but also of our regular clients coming in.
"Lots of people have come in to enter the draw and we've had some good chats about people holidays."
She said certainly the Friday had been a lot busier than last year.

It was the first time Aucklander Steph Taylor has exhibited her "artful elements" stall in Rotorua.
"It's early days yet but things have been good so far."
Taylor has been working on her products for the past year and a half and described them as "Kiwiana art, interiors and gifts".
On the first day, she had people admiring her wine charms and combing through the bookmarks.
She was looking forward to the full weekend.
Across the way, the Rotorua Anglers Club was making fishing flies and signing up members.
"We're trying to get more young people to join so it's not all about us oldies," Jennie Hilton said.
"It's been really good."
