If you thought it was cold this morning, you were right.
Temperatures officially plummeted to -0.1 this morning between 4am and 6am today.
Today and yesterday were equally the coldest mornings so far in May.
On May 15 and May 6 we woke to temperatures of 1 degrees C.
It'sbeen a mixed bag month with some relatively warm mornings too, with lows recorded on May 11 of 14C and May 17 and 18 of 12C, according to the MetService website.
