Te Matarae i Orehu is the only Te Arawa group to perform in the final day of Te Matatini.

Performances are underway in Christchurch with hundreds braving the predicted wet weather at Hagley Park.

Two Mataatua groups, Te Whanaau a Apanui and Opotiki Mai Tawhiti were also chosen in the top nine to perform today.

RGP 05Mar15 - WELCOME: A massive crowd was on hand for the Te Matatini pohiri in Christchurch.
