Comvita staff are keeping the Christmas tradition of giving alive by gifting products to the Salvation Army.
Staff from the Paengaroa-based company will donate more than 200 jars of honey, apple cider vinegar, Midihoney skincare products and other items to Salvation Army depots in Rotorua and Whakatane.
Comvita chief people and culture officer Kate Selway said it was the employees who decided to make the donation in the lead-up to Christmas.
"Each month our staff received a product allowance of either honey or other products," Selway said.
"This December they decided to gift those to the less fortunate. I'm so proud of our people for choosing to help where they can."
