Students were celebrated for their success recently at Rotorua Boys' High School.

The annual Celebration of Success event was held recently at Rotorua Boys' High School.

Sixty-eight high achievers were acknowledged on the night, which included students who had achieved in their academic studies, those who had gained leadership roles and students who were national champions in their sports.

Our Year 9 Jubilee Scholars and Tai Mitchell Boarding Scholarship recipients were also acknowledged at this event.

The academic achievers were presented with their scholars' blazers and honours ties.

Several national champions in waka ama will be representing New Zealand at the World Championships later this year, and have been on the water paddling for titles at the National Secondary Schools Championships held in Rotorua this week.
