It's an iconic part of Rotorua's entertainment and landscape history. We've had shows there, we used to dance there for years. It was part of us growing up. We used to even be there for the Mardi Gras.

I think it's a shame that it's not being restored, but at the same time there were a lot of local events that it couldn't cater for recently.
