The Olympics sticks out in my mind, we got some gold medals and did well in the rowing and pole vaulting.

Rotorua's growth and development I think has been one of the exciting things about 2016, with things like Crankworx and businesses growing.

I think watching the tulips grow and coming out in spring, that was beautiful, but the highlight was Eliza McCartney getting bronze in Rio. What an inspiration for young New Zealanders.
