I don't think they should be riding on the road on their bikes, it's just too dangerous. There should be a strip down the road, like a bus lane, where they can ride safely.

I think we do need to accommodate them in some way. But what then happens to the older riders - are they allowed on there too? For school kids or under-12s I think it's a good idea because the amount of traffic on the roads is increasing.

In view of the amount of traffic we have to consider it and I'm not opposed to the idea. For those who share the paths they should also have some consideration of others using them. There should also be provision for safety, like bells on their bikes.
