More than 3500 people ran in the Rotorua Marathon. We asked spectators who they were supporting and what they thought about the day.
I'm supporting my brother who's 71, my son-in-law going on 66 and my son who's 51. They are running the half. It's a good way to spend the day.

My wife is running the half today. It's great, this is the third time we've come. I feel a bit lost not running this year. We're going to New York in November so this is part of training.

My friend is running the full marathon and his wife is doing the half. It's so amazing and run so professionally. It makes me feel good being here and I'm only watching.
