Single-vehicle crash in Murupara

A car has collided with a hedge in Murupara this afternoon.

A police communications spokeswoman said a report of the crash involving a vehicle, which collided with a hedge in Kopuriki Rd was received at 3.41pm.

There were no reports of injuries.

The spokeswoman said the St John ambulance service and Fire and Emergency NZ staff were alerted but the ambulance was stood down after there was no indication anyone was injured.

The car was being towed from the scene, she said.
