"It's probably one of the last opportunities for people to see her perform live in concert, so it's quite special."
Mr Hall described Dame Kiri as a New Zealand icon, with an illustrious career spanning more than 40 years.
"She's certainly put New Zealand on the map in terms of opera singing. Here is someone from a small country like New Zealand who has taken the international stage. She's become a world-renowned singer."
Over the years Dame Kiri's voice has captivated audiences in concerts halls across the world, including New York's Metropolitan, the Vienna State, Sydney Opera House, La Scala, Covent Garden and the Chicago Lyric Opera.
Mr Hall said her concert in Rotorua was sure to be a hit, as she would perform a wide variety of songs, accompanied by her pianist Terence Dennis, that would appeal to all types of audiences.
In an earlier interview with the Rotorua Daily Post Dame Kiri said she was thrilled to return to Rotorua as it had become one of her favourite cities over the years.
"I always enjoy the experience and the hospitality for which Rotorua can be justly proud. I hope those who attend this recital will enjoy the musical experience. It's always a pleasure to share my music, and the songs I have selected to perform are all personal favourites," she said.
Mr Hall said tickets were selling fast, with only about 50 seats left. "It's going to be a fantastic concert, so I recommend people get in quick to snap up the last few tickets."
