Two businesses were burgled at the weekend in Rotorua and police are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious.

Liquor and cigarettes were stolen from Liquorland at the Redwood Centre at the Tarawera Road/Te Ngae Rd intersection about 3.30am on Saturday.

Shortly after midnight this morning the Outdoorsman on Tarawera Rd was burgled. Thieves stole Levis jeans, women's North Face jackets and Hunters Element jackets.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sergeant Lee Stringer of Rotorua police on 021 191 3597. Information can also be provided anonymously to the organisation Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
