The first thing that came out was "OI!, excuse me but is that my bag?".
He looked at me then made a run for the door. One of the massive personal trainers was next to the door and heard all this happen.
Something in my brain told me that the best idea would be to chase after him. The trainer also joined me in what seemed a ridiculous chase.
It must have looked funny, this pumped up muscle man running next to a scrawny white boy in nike shorts that are maybe a little too small.
The trainer caught him and sort of backwards clothes lined him to the ground. He dropped the bag and took off into the park.
The trained picked my bag up, looked at the bag, then looked at me. "Is this your bag?" he said to me with slight hesitation.
I laughed and said yes. It was a child's back pack with Mickey Mouse and friends that I had picked up for my Halloween costume. I liked it so much that I have been using it normally.
Grateful that my bag wasn't stolen and the look on the trainer's face was priceless. Nobody steals the mouse.
