Clare says random acts of kindness go a long way and she was trying to get the message out about being proactive rather than reactive when it came to treating depression.
She says her favourite part about giving out the pamper packs is the "good tears".
"You don't know what's happening in someone's life. I think everyone's going through something."
She says it is awesome having the continuous support from businesses in the community who donate items to the packs and she would love to do two massive pamper packs at Christmas.
She will be doing the Tarawera 50km event in two weeks as part of Running for Hope and people have come on board and donated for it, she says.
Olivia Harris says she felt shocked and quite blessed to receive the pamper pack.
"Someone's looking out for me and it's special."
She follows the Running for Hope Facebook page and watches the videos that are uploaded.
Olivia says a lot of the videos are relevant to things happening in her life and they help her to put things into perspective.
She says she never expected to receive a pamper pack.
"It's fantastic to know that there's people out there who are watching, looking out for people and care."
Rotorua MP Todd McClay went along for the presentation of the pamper pack to Olivia.
He thinks it's a great idea and gives it his full support.
"It's pleasing to see people in the community pitching in and caring for others.
"It's an excellent initiative."
