The Western Heights High School 1st XV rugby team will look to put "the cherry on top" of an already impressive season when they host Stratford High School tomorrow.
They will meet the Taranaki visitors at noon as both teams chase a spot in the National Top 4 co-ed secondary schools competition.
The winner will progress while the season will be over for the losers.
Western Heights 1st XV co-coach Steve Smith said the team were rapt to beat Opotiki College in the Baywide division one final a week ago, and they were looking forward to their next challenge against Stratford tomorrow.
"Winning the final against Opotiki put the icing on the cake, so to speak [for our season], and winning this week would be the cherry on top," he said.
