Reigning Bay of Plenty champions Waikite are happy with their preparations ahead of the biggest game of the season.
Waikite will line up against Arataki (Tauranga) at Arataki Park on Sunday for the grand final of the Bay of Plenty women's competition.
The final is a re-match of last year's final which saw Waikite get past Arataki in a close match.
Waikite captain and manager Eliza Stephens said they had a good week building towards the big game.
"Our preparation is much more structured this week. We know it's going to be a big challenge this weekend to go back to Arataki and play them on their home turf. The teams are very even."
