"Discipline was added which has been lacking over the last couple of games and we put excellent pressure on Greerton forcing them into mistakes and turning the ball over.
"Also I was impressed we still went for it in the second half. We didn't take our foot of the gas, stayed consistent and controlled the ball."
Standout performances included front rower Abe Tito, captain Zac Hohneck, and kicker Henry.
Elsewhere in Premier 1 there were two incredibly close fixtures with second placed Rangataua clinching a 31-30 away victory against Tauranga Sports and fifth-placed Te Puke Sports narrowly beat bottom-of-the-table Whakatane Marist.
Whilst top of the table Mount Maunganui Sports had a hard-fought 36-22 home victory over Te Puna. Meanwhile, in Premier 2 Ngongotaha moved off the bottom of the table after beating close rivals Marist St Michael's 39-5 at home.
The hosts led 17-5 at halftime and Ngongotaha's first win in the division saw them leapfrog their opponents in the table.
Ngongotaha club captain Roger Whakaue was "delighted with the result" and said it was a much-improved performance.
"We haven't quite got the results we've deserved recently so everyone was very eager to perform," he said.
"The derby brought out the best in everyone and we cut down on crucial errors."
Marist St Michael's coach Mike Lewis said his side's structure fell apart in the second half.
"We started off well and controlled the ball nicely," he said.
"But then our formation fell flat after the break and Ngongotaha got on a roll."
Top-of-the-table Whakarewarewa had their fifth solid win in a row, beating Opotiki 32-22 away while sixth-placed Waikite lost 24-42 at home to third-placed Arataki.
