Pikiao have defeated Pacific 30-26 in one of the most dramatic grand finals in Bay of Plenty District Rugby League history.

Pikiao were eight points behind with five minutes to go today, when they took hold of the game.

Two late tries sealed their first premier title in 14 years.

Upwards of 1000 people watched the game at Puketawhero Park today.

Reporoa also won their first title today since joining the reserve grade in 2011. They defeated Pacific reserves 50-16 in the reserve grade final.
