The Rotorua Lakefront will be bustling and full of Pasifika vibes this weekend, rain or shine.

Rotorua's Pasifika Fun Day 2019 is being held tomorrowfrom 10am to 2pm.

The day is all about celebrating Pacific cultures with food and performance.

It is being hosted by the Rotorua Pacific Islands Development Charitable Trust.

Trust administrator Tupou Kaloni said it would be a busy day.

The event will include food stalls with a range of cuisines from the Pacific, cultural performances from local schools and Pacific Island communities, information booths, and craft stalls.

She said she was looking forward to the Pasifika vibes of the day and encouraged people to go along to see a fantastic event.

"It's about recognising being Poly, and showing pride."
