A worker in a Rotorua CBD store was allegedly assaulted during a robbery tonight.
A police media spokesman confirmed police were called to a Pukuatua St store at 4.39pm following reports of a robbery and alleged assault on a staff member.
The staff member did not require medical attention, he said.
One person has been taken into custody.
