Rotorua's median house sale price last month was $354,000, according to figures released today.
Real Estate Institute of New Zealand statistics for October show 84 houses were sold in the district last month, up from 77 in September but down from the 109 sold in October, 2016.
The median sale price of $354,000 was up 5.7 per cent from September ($335,000) but down 4.7 per cent on October 2016's median of $371,500.
Nationally, the median price rose by 3.9 per cent year on year to $530,000. However, median prices in Auckland fell by 3.2 per cent year on year to $850,000 - the biggest fall since December 2010.
