Former Rotorua United president Deryck Shaw has been elected as the new president of New Zealand Football.
Shaw, who has been a WaiBOP Football board member since 2009, joined New Zealand Football's executive committee late last year.
He was voted president of the New Zealand Football board last Friday during their annual congress in Auckland.
Shaw said he was honoured to be elected to the role.
"I am honoured and privileged to be given the opportunity to become president of New Zealand Football at such an exciting time and look forward to working with my executive committee colleagues, management, federations and all those involved in football in re-positioning our sport in New Zealand."
