Photos of a wedding day have been reunited with their family thanks to an appeal on the Daily Post's Facebook page.
Daybreak Senior Daycare came to the Rotorua Daily Post after having no luck in finding who the photos belonged to. They had been found at the Lake Rd centre about five months ago.
On Friday one of the photos was shared online and we made contact with the names given. The photos were of Joanne Hawes' daughter Andrea's wedding two years ago.
She lives in Westport - and the wedding was in Westport - but she said her dad attended Daybreak. "They probably ended up there through him."
Daybreak Senior Daycare director Gail Edwards said she was "thrilled" the photos could be returned.
