Rotorua courthouse has reopened after a threat evacuated the building this morning.
People were evacuated from the courthouse around 11.40am.
A police spokeswoman said police at the scene “haven’t been able to locate anything suspicious and are standing down. The court was evacuated as a precaution, but has been reopened.”
Earlier, court staff had gathered at an evacuation point outside Lakes Primecare.
Security guards had prevented people from walking on the footpath directly outside the courthouse.
