Rotorua community groups received more than $300,000 in grants from The Southern Trust in the second quarter of 2018.
Across the country, the trust gave out $3.144 million in grants.
The Southern Trust, one of the country's leading gaming trusts, released figures today showing 411 community groups received grants between April 1 and June 30.
Groups in the Rotorua District received $372,250 in funding.
The Southern Trust chief executive and trustee Karen Shea said partnerships with venues across New Zealand provided funds to help community organisations in New Zealand.
