Sentencing for a Canadian man living in Rotorua who imported cocaine and ecstasy has been put off until next year.
Steven Michael Dyde, 44, unemployed, was due to be sentenced in the Rotorua District Court yesterday.
Dyde had previously pleaded guilty to importing cocaine and ecstasy.
Judge Chris McGuire adjourned sentencing after ordering a report on whether home detention would be suitable for Dyde.
He has been remanded on bail for sentencing on February 23.
