Description: Park Ride is a multi-discipline elimination race with two riders going head to head through a specially designed circuit up and down the multi-storey Rotorua's car park building. Each level of the carpark build will feature different obstacles and spectator attractions.
Great food and even a bar along with a laser light show and music to enhance both rider and spectator experience.

MTB Adventure Quest

Description: A fun rogaine style navigation based adventure suitable for all levels. Riders in teams of 2-5 will use a specially prepared map and have 2hrs to locate as many checkpoints as possible and try to accumulate the biggest score they can and make it back to the finish before the cut-off time to avoid penalties. There will also be some fun special challenges at which teams can score bonus points. This event will be particularly good for families with kids on small bikes, bike seats, trailers...etc as there will be lots of checkpoints accessible from near the event HQ. More advanced riders will have the opportunity to ride further and explore parts of the MTB trail network.

Sport Bay of Plenty 'Family Fun Ride' & 'Truck & Cyclist Demo'

Description: A ride aimed at the beginner/casual rider and families. There are two course options taking up to 40mins on easy off road tracks around Sulphur Point. Cost is FREE. The theme is cartoon characters, so dress up! Spot prizes up for grabs.

Do you know how much a driver of a heavy vehicle can see from the seat of their vehicle?
Check out the view from the cab of a big truck that will be parked up at the event, and learn about just how much can fit into its blind spots.

Talk about sharing the road with other users, what to do in traffic, on the highway, at intersections so everyone gets home safely.

Revolve Rotorua Women only MTB Ride

Description: Revolve Rotorua are a down to earth cycling group for women. We are all about empowering women through the joy of biking.
This Thursday evening event is a fun social mountain bike group ride to encourage the ladies onto their bikes and to try new things including grade 3/4 trails in a safe and supportive environment. And it is free. We split into groups of different ability to suit all levels, and each group is lead by an experienced 'Camp Mum' (aka group leader/guide). We stop frequently to chat and socialize, and no one gets left behind. It's fun! All ladies welcome! Teenage girl 12 years and over are welcome, but all girls under the age of 18 need to be accompanied by an adult female riding companion. The Big Bike Film Night

MTB Beginners Open Day

Did you know, that the mountain bike tracks in the Whakarewarewa forest, are world class? Have you ever ridden a bike, in this beautiful forest?
If not, now is the time! We will guide you on flat, easy trails so that you can 100 percent enjoy the experience. The tour includes a basic skill session and then a leisurely 30 minute ride in the forest.
