The range of auction items up for grabs includes a framed picture of the boxing fight between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, two rugby jerseys, spa packages, dinner, and a summer concert package including accommodation in Taupo.
The 2017 All Blacks jersey was signed by the squad leading up to the game against the South Africans at North Harbour recently.
The other jersey is a signed 2015 All Blacks World Cup winning jersey.
Rotary Rotorua Sunrise member Michele Weston says the fundraiser is beneficial for many in the community through the eight selected charities.
"The money is going to stay in Rotorua and benefit our community."
She said charities were able to submit an application for funding, and from there the board then selected which charities would benefit.
They are hoping to sell 600 tickets and raise more than $100,000.
"It's going to be a fun afternoon that has that feel good factor."
It also provides a bit of time out before Christmas, Michele says.
They are encouraging bosses to let people have the afternoon off in order to support the local charities involved.
Rotorua Mountain Bike Club president Mathew Hunt says it is great being able to receive money from the event, which will go towards their First Response Unit that works in the forest and acted like a ski or surf patrol.
He says the money will help them with operational costs and keeping the service chugging along.
Citizens Advice Bureau manager Jane Eynon-Richards says they are absolutely thrilled to be one of the charities.
She says they feel there is a misconception that the bureau is fully funded and they are not.
"To have this opportunity to get some extra funding is wonderful."
She says it is exciting to be a part of the fundraiser and the money will likely towards operational costs.
