President Russell Burton says there will also be a special surprise happening.
He says their rotary club is one of the longest running ones in the region.
Russell says most of the presidents from the other rotary clubs in the region are coming along to help celebrate.
There will also be present and past members attending, along with Rotorua mayor Steve Chadwick.
The cutting of a cake will take place by three hands - the most recent member, the longest serving member and Bill Boyd.
They are hoping to get about 80 people attend the celebration.
Russell says the club has put a lot of time and effort into youth over the years, and he thinks they have a strong fellowship.
"I think one of the big things about rotary is the fellowship - supporting each other and sharing experiences."
Past president and archivist Tony Baker says it is a milestone for any rotary club to reach 90 years without any hiccups.
He says it is interesting to think that when the club started Rotorua had about 7800 inhabitants.
"Rotorua has grown quite a lot and the club has grown with it."
He says the club did a lot of work in the early days in Rotorua, helping with getting it up and running.
Russell and Tony the celebration will represent 90 years of fellowship and hundreds of thousands of dollars being pumped into the community to help support it.
