A John Paul College staff member says everyone can benefit from the talk she's bringing to Rotorua and hopes breaking down the financial barrier will make it accessible.
The college's learning support co-ordinator, Paulene Walsh, is helping bring resilience specialist Dr Lucy Hone to talk about resilience and wellbeing.
Hone is the director of the New Zealand Institute of Wellbeing and Resilience and a published author and researcher.
On Queen's Birthday weekend in 2014, her daughter, best friend and best friend's daughter were killed in a car accident.
Walsh first saw Hone speak at a conference in Queenstown and asked her to come to Rotorua.
