The Ohope Beach Festival will celebrate its 10th birthday when it returns in the new year.
It has become a quintessential part of the Eastern Bay summer events calendar with thousands of locals and holidaymakers heading to the beach to enjoy the sights, sounds, and tastes of the popular summer festival.
The festival, which will take place at the Mahy Reserve on Monday January 2, will feature live entertainment on the main stage with performances from some of the Bay of Plenty's best performers, the Food Truck Food Court featuring delicious food trucks from across New Zealand, and the Family Fun at the Beach with Q97-Hits including beach cricket, tug of war, and the popular Beach Dig.
Event producer Kelly Kiwha, who took over the event in 2015 from the Ohope Beach Lions, said they were celebrating an incredible milestone.
The Ohope Beach Festival is proud to support the Dream Chaser Foundation and volunteers will be collecting gold coin donations throughout the day.
