Taupo police have released the name of the man found dead in the Waikato River at Reid's Farm yesterday.
He was 32-year-old Brent Christoffersen, of Masterton.
The death is not thought to be suspicious and will be referred to the Coroner.
Police have extended their thoughts to Christoffersen's family and friends.
