A person has been airlifted to Rotorua Hospital with serious injuries after a van crashed down a bank on a forestry road in Kaingaroa Forest this morning.
A St John spokeswoman said two people were also taken to Rotorua Hospital in an ambulance, one with moderate and one with minor injuries.
A police spokeswoman said they received a call from ambulance at 7.26am about a van with four people that had crashed down a bank halfway down Wairapukao Rd.
Police, fire, two ambulances, and the Greenlea rescue helicopter attended the scene.
