A person has received moderate injuries after being hit by a car.
A police spokeswoman said police were notified by ambulance services at 3.05pm that a person had been hit by a car at the intersection of Lake Rd and Old Taupō Rd.
A St John spokeswoman said one ambulance went to the incident and the person was taken to Rotorua Hospital with moderate injuries.
