A road has since reopened after a serious crash in the Bay of Plenty between Te Teko and Galatea.
Police were called to the single-vehicle crash on Galatea Rd, Waiohau about 2.30pm yesterday.
The road was closed for a scene examination and the Serious Crash Unit was notified. Motorists were asked to avoid the area, but the road reopened yesterday.
A Hato Hone St John media spokeswoman said it responded with a first response unit, two ambulances, one rapid response unit and a helicopter.
Three patients were assessed with a person in a minor condition and one in a moderate condition both treated at the scene.
