I have used the term numerous times while on-air or on-stage talking to others. Should I be worried?
Is the concern about wi-fi in schools the anti-cell phone towers near schools debate all over again? To be honest when I read this last week I almost laughed out loud.
What next? Welcome to the 21st century, people.
I am a parent too, but it doesn't concern me one little bit.
I would much rather my kids have all available resources to them in their place of learning than be restricted because of some over-cautious approach to technology.
Families in our community are struggling to put food on the table and rely on the help the Salvation Army provide. At this time of the year, demand increases ten-fold, so again the Salvation Army needs our help.
Our radio station and other organisations have for the past few years hit the streets of Rotorua collecting cans. This year we are combining and going all out on one night, hitting three areas of the city with a lot of lights, noise and collectors.
It's the 2014 Rotorua Daily Post & The Hits 97.5 Food Drive for The Salvation Army Foodbank and will happen on Monday, December 6. Collectors will be in Ngongotaha, Western Heights and Springfield so listen out for us after 6pm, or if you live outside these areas, why not come and join the food drive anyway, the more the merrier for a great cause.
