There will be no rubbish or recycling collection in Rotorua on Good Friday.
Rotorua Lakes Council said collections for areas normally on a Friday will take place the following day on Saturday April 20.
The council said people should remind their neighbours about the changes.
The affected areas will be Whakarewarewa,Te Ngae, Ngapuna, Lynmore, Owhata, Holdens/Hannahs Bay, Rotokawa, and Brunswick.
