New look Daily Post: 9 days to go

In just over a week your new-look daily newspaper will be here.

As you know our weekday paper will change from the current format to a smaller, more compact version while our weekend paper will be our "big read" paper and will remain the same size it is now.

Although The Daily Post's Saturday paper won't change its format, we are making some changes to it to ensure we deliver even more for you, our readers.

Our second section of your Saturday paper, Weekend Life, will be refreshed with a new look and new content.

We'll continue starting the section with a weekend big-read feature but as soon as you open the section you'll notice a change.

We will bring you a new history section which will give you an even better look into our city's past as well as some weekend ideas to keep you busy.

We will have a new special feature in the paper called The Weekend Project - each week we'll look at different projects you can do around your house over the weekend.

We will continue to bring you the latest music and entertainment news and reviews on the Saturday but all your health and beauty needs will be catered for in our new Tuesday lift-out Good Life.

You may also notice a few colour and layout changes in the mix too.
