And now, the end is near. And so we face the final countdown to the relaunch of The Daily Post as a morning compact weekday newspaper. On Saturdays the paper will remain broadsheet size, but from next week will be a new-look morning newspaper.
One thing you'll notice quickly about the compact paper is there will be twice the number of pages you're used to. With so many pages we're determined to make sure you know where to find your favourite bits and pieces.
So every day on the front page we'll be telling you where to find the weather, TV and puzzle pages. On page 2 we'll make sure you know where everything else is with a handy index.
The paper will follow a logical flow: with local news and opinion up front, a features liftout in the middle, business, national and world news followed by sport and classified, with the sport lead in its rightful place on the back page.
Don't forget to get your historic first copy of the Rotorua Daily Post on Monday to see for yourself. We'll have a bumper edition including a 36-page commemorative liftout (pictured) celebrating our history. Join us as we continue to make history on Monday.
