Silver Ferns captain Laura Langman

The Silver Ferns have lost their sixth straight match, going down 42-38 to England in Rotorua tonight.

The Silver Ferns really struggled to convert their chances at the Energy Events Centre tonight, shooting at just over 60 per cent.

Despite a late comeback, and a great home crowd, England managed to hold on and record a rare win over New Zealand.

The Silver Ferns will play again on Friday against England, during the final game of their two-match series.
