Motorcycle crashes in Rotorua after fleeing police

A motorcyclist has crashed after fleeing police in Rotorua.

A police spokesman said the motorcyclist fled after police signalled to pull over on Edmund Rd at 10.17am.

The motorcyclist then crashed and fell off the bike on Wrigley Rd and ran off.

They have not been found although police said they were following strong lines of inquiry.
