The Geyser Community Foundation has more than $46,000 to distribute to charities and community organisations working in the Supporting Families and Social Services area in the Rotorua and Taupō communities this year.
Geyser's Distribution Advisory Committee chairman Dr Kierin Irvine said Geyser had received funding from The Tindall Foundation to distribute on its behalf every year since being appointed funding manager in 2013.
"We would like to reach further into the Rotorua and Taupō communities so encourage all local charities and community organisations to jump online at www.geysercf.org.nz to see if they fit the criteria.
"There are two stages to the application process. All applications must be made directly to the Geyser Community Foundation. Preliminary applications open on March 1 2019," he said.
Irvine said Geyser trustees had approved gifts totalling more than $265,000 on behalf of The Tindall Foundation which have supported a variety of community organisations in the Rotorua and Taupō communities over the past six years.
