Liam Messam returns to the All Black Sevens team this weekend for the first time in six years.
The Rugby World Cup winning All Black loose forward has been named to play in the fifth leg of the HSBC World Series in Las Vegas.
Messam last played for the national sevens team in 2010 when he helped win gold at the Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Counties Manukau team-mates Josh van Lieshout and Sione Molia will make their sevens debuts at the Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas with the two selected after impressing coach Gordon Tietjens at the Bayleys National Sevens in Rotorua which Counties Manukau won.
Tietjens said he had also chosen to rest Sonny Bill Williams following two pleasing performances at Wellington Sevens and Sydney Sevens.
