My Country Song is returning for a second series on Maori Television which will feature Dennis Marsh (also Ngati Maniopoto) in a mentor role.
Presenter Saelyn Guyton (Ngai Tahu) delivers in te reo Maori, interviewing performers in a celebration of the singer and the song.
Marsh will be behind the scenes to offer advice to aspiring artists while learning a trick or two himself.
The series is filmed around the North Island, with some 77 performances and songs captured by the team, who are also responsible for other high-rating shows on Maori Television, including It's in the Bag.
