A man who escaped police custody from Rotorua Hospital over a week ago has been arrested.
The 27-year-old was found at a Rotorua property yesterday morning.
He is due to appear in Rotorua District Court this morning charged with escaping police custody, resisting police and assaulting police.
He escaped custody on August 23.
