Police have released the name of the man who died from his injuries two days after a crash at Atiamuri last week.
He was 31-year-old Derick Johann Anderson, from Taupo.
Mr Anderson was the driver of a car which collided with a 20-seater bus, at the intersection of State Highway 1 and State Highway 30 about 4.20pm on Thursday.
He died in Waikato Hospital on Saturday.
The Serious Crash Unit is investigating the cause of the crash.
