A 35-year-old man has died in an incident on a Reporoa farm.
Worksafe confirmed it had been notified of the death, which happened on Tuesday morning.
A spokeswoman said its investigations could take a couple of months to complete.
Police also attended and have referred the death to Worksafe and the coroner.
